Day1  Arrival in Yerevan. Meet at the airport, transfer to the accommodation. Night walk in Yerevan. Dinner at the restaurant.

Day2 City tour in Yerevan includes following sightseeing places: Cascade complex, Republic Square, Opera House, Matenadaran and much more. Then we visit Noy brandy factory for wine digustation.

Day3 Next step is Ejmiatsin town, here we visit Mother Cathedral, which is the mother church of the Armenian Apostolic Church, located in the city of Vagharshapat (Etchmiadzin), Armenia.According to scholars it was the first cathedral built in ancient Armenia, and is considered the oldest cathedral in the world. After Ejmiatsin we visit Zvartnots temple, the early medieval architectural monument, located 3 km southeast of the Etchmiadzin. In 1989 he was included in UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage list.Zvartnots was built during the reign of CatholicosNerses III Tayetsi in 643-652. It is expected that in the area of the Zvartnots was a templeof the pagan god Tir.

Day4 Garni Geghard is one of the  most visiting places of Armenia, Geghard is a medieval monastery, founded in the 4thcentury by Gregory the Illuminator.It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Next step is  Garni, it is a Hellenistic temple, founded in 77 AD. During this tour we also visit Stone Symphony.

 

Day5 Armenian Alphabet Monument complex was built in 2005, on the 1600th anniversary of the creation of Armenian alphabet. The complex includes sculptures of 39 letters of Armenian alphabet, as well as monuments to the great Armenian thinkers. All the letters and statues are made of Armenian tufa. Armenian language is an independent branch in Indo-European language family. Armenian alphabet was created by Mesrop Mashtots in 405.  After it we visit Amberd Fortressis a 7th-century fortress located 2,300 meters (7,500 ft) above sea level, on the slopes of Mount Aragats at the confluence of the Arkashen and Amberd rivers in the province of Aragatsotn, Armenia. The name translates to “fortress in the clouds” in Armenian. It is also the name incorrectly attributed to Vahramashen Church, the 11th-century Armenian church near the castle. The village of Byurakan is 6.4 kilometres (4.0 mi) from the site of Amberd. Next step ia Saghmosavank,  a 13th-century Armenian monastic complex located in the village of Saghmosavan in the Aragatsotn Province of Armenia.


Day6  The Khor Virap is one of the amazing monasteries of Armenia, founded in 4th century,  it is located in Ararat plain, near border with Turkey. Visit Areni cave complex. In 2010, it was announced that the earliest known shoe was found in the cave.Next step is Noravanq, founded in XIII-XIV century, it is surrounded by mysterious reddish cliffs.

Day7 On the seventh day we visit Haghpat, Sanahin, Akhtala monasteries: Sanahin and Haghpat are neighboring monasteries in the Lori province, founded in 10th century.
Haghpat and Sanahin monasteries were chosen as UNESCO World Heritage Sites because:
The two monastic complexes represent the highest flowering of Armenian religious architecture, whose unique style developed from a blending of elements of Byzantine ecclesiastical architecture and the traditional vernacular architecture of the Caucasian region.
Akhtala is a city in the Lori province ofArmenia, situated on the slopes of Lalvar mountain, on the left bank of the Debed.There are numerous historical cultural monuments in the area of the city: Akhtala fortress, Akhtala and St. Astvatsatsin monasteries, Araqelots and Ayanes churches, Khachvank and Nahatak monastery chapels.

Day8 Vernissage. Transfer to the airport
The Yerevan Vernissage is an open-air exhibition-market functioning on the weekends. It was formed during the 1980s by Armenian artists who started to display their art works in the square next to the Artists Union of Armenia.
